Randy Ravenscraft started in music at age 5, playing his uncle's
acoustic guitar like an upright bass (because he wasn't big enough
to hold it in his lap). His first band experience was at age 9,
playing bass guitar in his mom's square dance band. After 7 years
of piano lessons, and drumming in school bands, he started his first
high school rock group, named "Huh?". He's been into the music scene
ever since, playing guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums, and performing
everything from bluegrass and country, to rock, funk, and blues.
He has co-produced and performed on several recording projects,
and currently has a home-based recording studio where he loves to
spend all of his free time. In what others consider "the normal
life", he holds a BS in Quality Management, and is Plant Manager
of a Plastics Injection Molding company close to his home in Hillsboro,
Ohio. He still hopes to someday escape from the "real world" and
do what he loves best ("I have yet to meet a musician that has grown
up or grown old!").
